Discover the Right Way to Design Your Renovation
I keep talking about people starting in the WRONG PLACE. Where is this infamous place in the land of renovations?
Well it’s right here in the details. Let me explain.
Everyone I speak to about their renovation, they began with the details, not the plan. And when you have no plan in place, it’s overwhelming and frustrating to sort out the details, yes?
If you push though this, it often results in budget escalations, rushed design decisions and a result you are not happy with.
It’s kinda like you want to build a home and the first thing you do is go to the store to select nails. It’s backwards. And you have to agree with me that it is so wrong!
There is a sequence of events that need to take place before you head out to the stores. You need to create a plan for your home and then decide what kind of nails you need and how many. In fact, during the planning you may discover that you don’t need nails at all! You need screws.
What a waste of time to go shopping for nails when you really didn’t need them in the first place. You really didn’t know what you needed, let alone what you wanted. And to figure that all out while surrounded by all the different nails leads to confusion, overwhelm, frustration and indecision.
Now think of it in terms of your renovation. Without a plan that addresses the functionality of the space as well as all the design elements, it’s no wonder so many have been so confused and overwhelmed to the point they just give up.
So if you have:
- Gone to a flooring store to pick out flooring and were overwhelmed by all the choice.
- Headed to the paint store and ended up buying paint that you now have doubts about.
- Brought home sample after sample after sample…and still haven’t made a decision.
Well, you are knee deep in the details!
And you need to take a step back and get a plan in place.
Do you want to know exactly how to do a plan?
I’m going to be talking about that in my upcoming Masterclass on May 14th at 2pm. And I will show you the RIGHT place to start so you can approach your renovation with clarity and confidence.
If you have a vested interest in your renovation, then save your seat today. This is not something you want to miss.
